My name Is Ken Ufford and I am currently 40 years of age. I have been powerlifting since age 15. I live in Overland Park Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City.

I have been lifting for about 26 years, since I was 15 years old. I am married to my very supportive wife Jean Marie and I have two sons, ages 6 and 12. I competed in my fist Nationals at age 15. I won the 82,83,84 USPF Teenage Nationals. I took first in the USAPL 86 Collegiate Nationals and broke some records. The Deadlift record of 755 at 275 still is holding to this date. I lifted with Team USA in the 89 Pan American meet and won a first place. I have competed in and won several USAPL Police and Fire Nationals and I currently hold several of the records one that includes a 800 pound deadlift. I have lifted in three of the Police and Fire world games and have won one gold medal and two silver medals. I hold several of the Kansas State records in the 275 and SHW weight classes and have been only one of two men in our state to total over 2000 drug free.

I am currently lifting as a master in the APA and the USAPL. My best meet lifts to this date are an 825 squat, 600 bench and a 820 deadlift. My best total in a meet is 2195. I want to continue to lift as a master and I think that with Titan on my side that can become a reality. They by far make the best gear that I have ever used in my lifting career and they continue to improve on it.

My two biggest fans are my son Zach and my father Bill Ufford. I thank my parents for all the early help in my career I could not have done it without them, they are the best.
